Partington Canyon

— In: Outdoors Tags: , ,

Exploring the lesser known hikes around Big Sur, found Partington Canyon. The Tan Bark trail ascends through a foggy redwood grove, then steeply up to the Tin House (said to be built for Roosevelt, as a quiet spot to write his memoirs). Although I was ready for a swim after climbing 2,000ft in 4 miles, it’s way too cold. Don’t let the color fool you, this isn’t the Tropics.

One Response to “Partington Canyon”

You, sir, are a fucker. If you want to get the gorgeous pictures I’ve been taking all summer, you’ll have to google “People’s Republik Cambridge MA.”

By the way, you’ve missed out on some great beer. I wouldn’t trust those hippies in CA to brew tea, much less something as important as beer.

I’m planning a Germany mini-trip this summer, for beer and schnitzel. Maybe I’ll have some pictures from that.

Have fun with your “mountains” and your “fresh air.”
