{"id":2408,"date":"2014-12-30T16:07:06","date_gmt":"2014-12-31T00:07:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.levinger.net\/josh\/?p=2408"},"modified":"2015-01-05T16:55:24","modified_gmt":"2015-01-06T00:55:24","slug":"snow-in-zion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.levinger.net\/josh\/2014\/12\/30\/snow-in-zion","title":{"rendered":"Snow in Zion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been to Zion before, but it&#8217;s even more spectacular in winter.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.levinger.net\/josh\/2010\/07\/29\/hiking-in-zion\">Last time<\/a> we couldn&#8217;t do the Narrows because of flash flood warnings, so we explored the western Kolob Canyons. This time we stayed right in the valley at <a href=\"http:\/\/zionlodge.com\">Zion Lodge<\/a>, and did an incredible hike up to Hidden Canyon. I didn&#8217;t manage to take photos of the precipitous trail, because I was holding the chain tightly while navigating the slippery snow and sandstone.
