{"id":4037,"date":"2024-06-09T16:41:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-09T23:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.levinger.net\/josh\/?p=4037"},"modified":"2024-08-12T11:28:50","modified_gmt":"2024-08-12T18:28:50","slug":"going-back-to-bodie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.levinger.net\/josh\/2024\/06\/09\/going-back-to-bodie","title":{"rendered":"Going Back to Bodie"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Took a week off to go visit some of my favorite places and take photos under the dark and clear skies of the Sierras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Landed in Reno, and then drove to the south shore of Tahoe for a quick hike and dip in the lake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/jlevinger\/53771963441\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53771963441_0dab84a7f9.jpg\" alt=\"Secret Harbor Panorama\" width=\"500\" height=\"138\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Big Boulders in Secret Harbor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then drove down Bridgeport, where I met up with Jeff and Lori of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jeffsullivanphotography.com\">Great Basin School of Photography<\/a>, with whom I have done other trips to Death Valley, Yosemite and the Eastern Sierras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We spent four nights shooting together: first at Mono Lake to practice, then Tioga Pass to refine our technique, and finally two spectacular evenings in Bodie.
