After a really mellow February and March, we got a last-minute dump in April. I used the most of my flexible work from home policy to get the goods.

Ended up getting about 20 days in this year: 9 at Palisades, 5 at Sugar Bowl (opening day to closing), and 4 backcountry. Add in a few snowshoe adventures, and it ended up a decent season.

The finest line I skied was the “money shot” off the west face of Mt Judah yesterday. It’s visible from Donner Lake, and after we hit it my friend Dean said we “won Truckee” for the day. Sure felt like it.

Tracks visible the next day from across the pass. Not a bad line!
