Attended CubaConf in beautiful La Habana, together with an international group of technologists, academics, media producers, and organizers to learn from Cuba’s free/libre open source community about how they build technology.
Drove 2500 miles, visiting five national parks and monuments, for two minutes of totality. It was totally worth it.
Stopped on our way back in Istanbul via Turkish Airlines. The city feels changed in the recent turmoil, but my journalist are still there to tell the important stories.
