Bonavista and Puffins

It took two days to drive back across Newfoundland to get to the puffin colonies, but it was worth it.

L’anse Aux Meadows

Since we had seen the birthplace of Leif Erikson in Iceland, I thought it would be fitting to see his landing site on the other side of the Atlantic. It’s a long way up the island, but worth the trip.

Gros Morne

I linked up with the RV caravan and we headed into the National Park. We stayed at the Lomond campground for three nights, doing day trips with the smaller vehicles.

Newfoundland

Janet and Lou are on a six-week RV trek across Atlantic Canada. I’m not retired yet, so I was only able to join for a week. It’s a couple of short flights from Boston, and I was able to make the most of it.
