Cartagena

After the wedding, we went to Cartagena to relax. The weather was a little hotter than I expected, but the breeze was nice, the ceviche fresh, and the snorkeling excellent.

We are in Colombia for the wedding of the century. We arrived about a week ago, and have been enjoying the beautiful country and some raucous parties.

Since I’ve been back from Libya for a few months, registrations have continued to support the the election in February and another round coming up in June. Democracy marches on.

Before leaving the continent, I decided to go see my old friend Jared who’s now based in Cairo. It’s the three year anniversary of the revolution that toppled Mubarak, so there are sure to be stories to cover.
