Showed a friend from Europe around the best of the Southern California spring wildflower superbloom. Rented a Jeep from Farabees and drove to Racetrack Playa, which was a fun way to explore the desert without having to hike in the heat. Then we headed uphill to the ancient Bristlecone Pines, which were lovely in the snow. Relaxed in the hot springs at Benton, and then headed back to the Bay.
