Drove 2500 miles, visiting five national parks and monuments, for two minutes of totality. It was totally worth it.

Outdoor adventures
Lots of snow in Tahoe, so time to go skiing again. Turns out Whiskey loves cross-country.
With all the snow in the Sierras, some friends and I decided to take an avalanche level one course to learn how to be safe in the backcountry.
Went to Yosemite to catch the lighting of the Horsetail Falls at sunset.
Ruth, Whiskey and I spent the holiday week in Tahoe. We enjoyed lots of fresh snow, both cross country and downhill skiing, and a cozy cabin for our little family.
