Today we woke up early for the first train to Machu Picchu. It was a long, hard day hiking at altitude, but the totally worth the effort.
We are in the “cutest village in Peru”, at the heart of the sacred valley filled with ruins of Inca fortresses and still used stone buildings.
The trouble with western road trips is that you eventually have to cross Nevada, inevitably in a single day.
